Having Trouble Sleeping? Try The Following
Sleep is an indispensable part of life. If you doubt me, try going without it for a few days; you will become quite worthless. If you aren't getting plenty of sleep, your fitness will slowly become worse & you'll also get even more accident prone. Imagine how many accidents are caused by people being too tired to focus on what's going on?
Having a good night's rest & learning how to sleep better principally relies on what you do in the daytime. For example:-
If you lead a somewhat sedentary life, day to day with little or no physical activity then your body is rarely really exhausted or wanting sleep. If on top of that, your days are highly stressed, you trot off to bed with an over active mind that will not shut down & will keep you awake.
If you eat a really large meal in the evening or late at night your body will be hard at work digesting food which will almost certainly irritate your sleep.
Some people have sleeping issues because of a particular medical problem but if you're a relatively "normal" kind of person, the recipe for good sleep is fairly easy.
1/- Get some type of physical exercise or activity you can do every day or on some sort of regular basis. There are heaps of things you can do so try & choose something that you really enjoy or that is fun for you to do.
2/- Look for a way to mentally relax (if you chose the right exercise, that could do it for you). Again there are plenty of choices & it's your decision to choose what works the best for you. Retiring to bed with a happy & relaxed mind-set will make a huge difference.
3/- Eat a good sized breakfast & a small evening meal & do not eat late in the evening.
If you follow these 3 things, your sleeping will improve & so will lots of other stuff in your life. So why don't you give it a try?
